OH THIS SHIT SLAPS,
really funky, very nice, it feel like the theme song for a tropical kind of level

larrynachos responds:

Thank you!!! Glad you enjoyed it :D

Really nice, very relaxing, it does feel like an ending

This is nice

THis was a WILD ride, lets start from the beggining
The first part sounds like ancient TV, you see how many tv programs about science have this bive of "almost a nursery ryme, but also very mistiique and it makes you wonder more?" is that, in those first notes i could see Jeremy as the protagonist of a TV program (or like Grand Ilusions in youtube/BilNye the Science Guy/ Beakman [WOLRD BEST SCIENTIS]) and he like decenst with a parasol in a lovely pond, the TV he uses to explain thing comes out of the water over a lylypad and he like...explain nature and biology and wholesome stuff (Like Mr. Rogers).
Then it comes the RAVE part, i feel that would be the outro, and it would be super messed up, like a masked figure that looks oddly similarto Jeremy cleaning up bodies and putting all the TV's and furniture in place, cleaning it all to the most miniscule detail.
the break into the 8-bit part feels like the start of another segment of the show, like a pixelated Jeremy completing various minigames to build up a lab where he'll later explain science stuff.
the lasst half is what turns everything 180, that scream and the music goes back to the more moved part, i cant really say what happens there, but the children are happy after it and it comes back to the happy tune, maybe he finally freed himself from something and its finally able to get away, but the nightmare is not done yet, that disturbed noise atthe ned, Jeremy looks at the camera, is this truly a smile or a mask?

Ruedefaux responds:

B R O LOOOL

i feel SEEN LOL

so Friend Jeremy is a cartoon character in a TV show (in the story i have in my mind), but he's more of a dystopian propaganda type situation disguised as a children's TV mascot-- so theres that sinister vibe behind him that is sometimes extremely obvious and other times more hidden.

i love this comment you came up with, it means that i did a good job executing the idea i was trying to portray with it <3 <3 <3

HELL FUCKING YEAHHHHHH
this is a really pumping tune mate, i get really nostalgic vibes out of this, like from the early 2000's rock and punk scene, its moving enough to let yourself be lost in the rythm and enjoy the music alone, but also you can take your time to hear what is the singer truly saying and what message the song tries to convey.
it has also a very happy tune towards the last third of the song, also very reminising of this era of music, this is condensed nostalgia, really good work, tremendous work

I do feel the Silent Hill vibes, very insdustrial.
hearing this paired with the drawing really give off this eerie aura, hammers smashing against metal to make the percussion, violent rythms and sounds of massive echoes that could come from a natural or demonic source, but also very nostalgic, sad and pushing main motiv, those soft chords of what i assume its a piano and some type of bells that urges you to stay alert and maybe run away from whatever is on this factory.
really nice, excllent pieces

Ruedefaux responds:

im glad that i was able to capture the oldschool yamaoka vibes with this one~
SH2 soundtrack is my favourite so I really drew inspiration from that one, along with the ambient dark sounds of the SH1 soundtrack. <3

you had me scared at first for that freaking picture (Shreck really wakes up my fight or flight instinct) but this is a really cool song, that first loop gives it a very LoFi vibe to it all, i feel like could be played to be the leimotiv of a 2000's guy whos about to fall asleep after coming back from school, the room iluminated in this pink-ish and orange-y lights of the late afternoon, he just lets his backpack tumble to the ground and falls face first onto the bed, blindly reaching for his walkman and putting this song.

From the start this sounds just like Christmas feels, a very pleasant and calming sound, perpetual, like a crecendo of an invisible chorus, very "celestial" and "holy-like" that simply reads as a "everything will be fine, just enjoy this moment"
its magestic, very good

VortexSupernova responds:

Thank you for the review, this was indeed created in December, last 2015 on a peaceful Christmas.

I really like how it evolves, because it starts with this crecendo, this almost magical start that is very "religious" like choirs in the distance, very ceremonial and dreamlike, and then it becomes a full on RPG presentation for this sword planted in the sand, the city that rises from the depths of the desert and the obelisk towering in the distance, inviting, mysterious and imposing.
very cool

Preds responds:

Thank you for the review! This is what I was aiming for actually :D
