The little ghost is adorable, nut it moves a little slow, the controls or the objective where never explained, only saw the text boxed with the fisrt ghost and at the start of the game.
good game tho

Thank you, ElCatrinLCD!
I still think the move speed in relation to map size is right.
The thing I miscalculated is the actual interaction you have with the map: more elements and less emptiness could have resolved the slowness feeling.
Holy Grail, this shit is really laggy, i dont know what to do half of the time, the controls are strange and unrespondive, the music and the aesthetic are cool tho, but it was like being in an actual arcade, in anot a good way, i felt dizzy, confused and frustatred for most of the experience
For performance issues, I'll need more information before I can find out where your experience is going wrong. Are you running on a low-spec machine? Is your cpu being throttled? What browser/OS are you using? What minigames are you having an issue with? It doesn't help to just say "it's laggy", because it's obviously not for the majority of players.
You don't know what to do half the time? Most minigames have a ? button with a brief tutorial. The ones that don't are usually self explanatory.
The controls are strange and unresponsive? Again, I need specifics. The unresponsiveness is probably caused by whatever is causing you to lag. What part of the controls are "strange"?
Dizzy? How? What minigame? There's nothing here that should cause eye strain or fatigue.
Need more information :\
I love the aesthetic, the initial theme was super epic, but i lost interest really fast, sorry but the music with that strange lag and not knowing what to do felt boring pretty quickly
Thanks for the review!
Art, mechanics and music are AWESOME
but i felt the controls really ortopedic, not being able to move while attaking, or having the attack move you forward is uncomfortable, and not being able to turn fast to escape or to attack someone behind is also a little bit frustating, this game begs for really fast tight controls but it feels like its forcing me to move really slow while the enmies can move more than me
Hi, thanks for the feedback! I'll take it into account for my next release :)
Really interesting game, infinite runners are some of my personal favorites, but i think the half 3D is not th best used, on other games like Catle Crashers, the chase scene allows you to jump over obstacles, and that is somethingi think it was missed here, jumping over thing would make it much more orgamnic, maybe the way to pick fruit could be changed to jump over the trees, or it could be a solely 2D game, with more traditional controls like Zombie Tsunami, that way it stil has the water gun mechanic without having to worry too much about if that next wall is gonna crush you, or it could move one space at a time, up key, one space up, down key one space down.
thats more or less how i would try to make the game feel more natural, at least for me, i had a great time playing, but it was hard to get used to.
moving to the graphics and music, is perfect, you have a really charming art style and interesting idea.
Picala is adorable (and i really appreciate the spanish text)
Wow thanks! I always appreciate a more detailed review!
The most common complaints have been that hitboxes are hard to get used to, and that it feels too narrow in terms of movement, so I think you make a good point as both things are related to the way the perspective is implemented, I was excited to try this type of presentation because I also liked the aesthetic, but it does create some gameplay challenges. Either the mobility options can improve, or as you mention, simplifying the layout to keep it only 2d. If the opportunity comes up to expand or redesign this one I'll definitively keep those details in mind.
Glad you still had fun and liked the art and music! :)
Cant play, screen doesnt even load or mark me error, so...
Edit: could play in chrome, apparently its because Flash is about to die or something, so it was disabled on my computer, its a funny game
What browser you usin? Should show the enable flash popup :0
Lemme kno!
Really interesting title, i had a great time playing, i was a little confused as to where to go and where i was but nothing too extreme, i wasn't lost, if i had to say something negative, putting the I/O buttons to use the gun wasn't at all comfortable for me, maybe, since WASD is the movement control you can use the arrow keys to use it, but thats just me, the art style and music look awesome, this aesthetic is really enjoyable.
great experience
Thanks, there are many control layouts in game, you can play with arrow keys + zxc. or play with a controller
This is the sole reason why im not in the teaching career, i hate every single second of this hell hole
Lol. Sorry for the trauma
Many of the puzzles seem imposible, but i had fun with this
all are solvables in 7 hexes of distance (or less), just keep trying :)
WOAH, i feelt...heavy, like i had a block of lead over my shoulders the entire time, its really resonated with me, the ambience id really well made. i would have liked to see more lore, like, the chats you had with the locals or maybe more conversations, but the core idea and the mechanics work really well, its a tragic story, but with a motivational score, really good, really good
Thank you for the review! Yes, due to constraints the lore and conversations were limited, but I'm glad you we able to get such an impression.
Thanks for playing!
